We especially have vacancies for cornets including top row cornets and Euphonium but we'll accommodate all brass players wishing to play in the band. Everyone would be very welcome.

Why not take the plunge and start playing with Mereside Brass Band and bring music and fun into your life! We can accommodate any players wishing to play in the band and you would be most welcome (including guests).

All positions, ages and abilities welcome either permanently or if you just fancy a blow. We can accommodate anyone who fancies attending one rehearsal or would like to join on a permanent basis. If you are working in the area or just fancy a blow please come along. We are a friendly, fun and sociable band who have many band meals, tours, workshops and nights out. We are a 4th section band who play at a variety of engagements and venues throughout the year, including bandstand concerts, seasonal events and do the odd contest.

Rehearsals will take place on Friday evenings from 8pm at the Venue in Rudheath, Northwich, CW9 7JL (adjacent to the A556 off Gadbrook Road, opposite Roberts Bakery) from Jan 2022. Please contact the secretary before coming down as we are covid compliant and have a thorough risk assessment in place.
